🎸 Carlos Santana Postpones Residency: A Hard Fall and Healing Ahead
Hey, music fans! 🎶 We have some unfortunate news regarding the iconic Carlos Santana. The legendary guitarist has had to postpone his Las Vegas residency after suffering a broken finger during a fall. 😢
Santana's team shared that he took a "hard fall" while enjoying a walk at his vacation home in Kauai. Unfortunately, this resulted in a broken little finger on his left hand, which required surgical intervention with pins inserted for healing. 🏥 As anyone who plays guitar knows, a finger injury can be a huge barrier to performing, and Santana will need about six weeks to recover fully.
Michael Vrionis, President of Universal Tone Management, reassured fans that Carlos is in good spirits and is eager to return to the stage once he’s healed. "He just needs to heal," he mentioned in an Instagram post, adding that Santana sincerely regrets the postponements of his performances. 🎤✨
Originally, Santana was set to kick off an eight-show run of "An Intimate Evening with Santana" on January 22 at the House of Blues in Mandalay Bay, but those performances are now canceled. Fans are encouraged to be patient and understanding, as accidents happen, and health should always come first! ❤️
Looking ahead, Santana is scheduled to return to the stage on April 16 at the Yaamava Casino, followed by a series of other shows in cities like Albuquerque, San Antonio, and Tulsa. His residency in Las Vegas is slated to resume on May 14, so there’s light at the end of the tunnel! 🌟
We send our best wishes to Santana for a speedy recovery and look forward to hearing him rock out again soon! 🤘 Stay tuned for more updates, and remember: health comes first!
